Touchline Soccer Centers was built by two coaches who believe youth soccer should be about more than just drills and scoreboards — it should build confident, capable kids who love the game for life.
How Touchline came to be.
Touchline Soccer Centers was founded by Calyx Baumeister and Juliette Fuentes, two coaches who spent years building youth soccer programs at clubs across the Seattle area before deciding to build something of their own.
After more than a decade combined coaching Lil' Kickers and Skills Institute programs, developing coaches, and running day-to-day operations at some of the region's top clubs, Calyx and Juliette relocated from Seattle to Utah County with a clear goal: bring a structured, professional, child-development-first approach to youth soccer in a community that didn't have it yet.
Touchline is the result — a youth soccer program built on real coaching credentials, a proven curriculum, and a genuine belief that the way kids are coached in their first years on the field shapes not just their soccer skills, but their confidence for life.
Every decision at Touchline is made by people who have actually coached the game.
Calyx Baumeister
Co-Founder & General Manager
Calyx brings over a decade of youth soccer coaching and operations experience from EA and MLS Next clubs, including several years as Director of Coaching & Operations overseeing Lil' Kickers and Skills Institute programs across multiple sites. Calyx also has coaching experience with the Olympic Development Program (ODP), and a background spanning marketing, content creation, and multi-site operations leadership.
Juliette Fuentes
Co-Founder & Lil' Kickers Coordinator
Juliette brings seven years of club coaching experience from EA and MLS Next environments, with a focus on early childhood soccer development. As Touchline's Lil' Kickers Coordinator, Juliette oversees the curriculum and coaching standards that make every child's first experience with soccer a confident and positive one.
From toddler programs to advanced training — we run one standard. High.
Child Development First
Every class is built around how kids actually learn and grow — not just soccer drills copied from adult training.
Real Coaching Credentials
Our program is led by USSF licensed coaches trained in age-appropriate, structured curriculum — not just volunteers reading a script.
A Lifelong Love of the Game
We measure success by whether a kid can't wait to come back next week — confidence and love for the game come before winning.
